Richard has worked in the field of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for the last 7 years, four of which have been with APCA. His primary responsibilities entail working with and supporting partners across Africa. Richard comes from a social work (social sciences) background with approximately 10 years experience in development work, projects planning and management, social research, and M&E with different NGOs and projects both in Uganda and across Africa.

Richard is currently completing a master's degree in Management Studies (MMS) from the Uganda Management Institute (UMI), Kampala and he holds a post graduate diploma in Project Planning and Management (PGD-PPM) from the same institution. Richard holds a bachelor's of Social Work and Social Administration (B.SWSA) degree from Makerere University, Kampala.
