The Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Nigeria (HPCAN) was registered in December 2007 with the vision to lead Nigeria towards a compassionate society where every individual facing serious illness receives dignified and holistic palliative care, ensuring quality of life and comfort for patients and their families.
With increasing membership in almost all the 36 states of the Nation, HPCAN is dedicated to pioneering palliative care excellence within Nigeria and beyond. Through proactive awareness campaigns, policy advocacy, education and training initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships, and holding an Annual General Meeting, the Association aims to elevate the standard of palliative care provision.
