Knowledge Dissemination and Advocacy

These publications come at a strategic time, with ongoing efforts to advance the agenda at the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) meeting held March 9-13 in Vienna. Collaborating with partners including the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) and the UNODC Programme, the research team is working to ensure these findings inform policy discussions and advocacy efforts at the highest levels.

Press releases and communications strategies have been developed in collaboration with leading research institutions to amplify the reach of these critical findings.

Looking Ahead

Following the CND meeting, additional knowledge translation activities are being planned, including potential webinars and further advocacy opportunities to ensure these research findings translate into tangible policy changes and improved access to medicines for children in need.

We encourage all stakeholders, healthcare providers, advocates, and policymakers to access and share these important resources within your networks. Ensuring children have access to essential pain relief remains a fundamental component of quality healthcare and human rights.
